Fan received his Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of Pittsburgh in 2025. His research focuses on developing statistical methods for high-dimensional data, including novel inference frameworks for protein contact prediction and robust variable screening technique. He is currently working on power analysis in the context of spatial omics data.
