Yihui is a PhD student in Biomathematics mentored by Jessica Li. He obtained a dual undergraduate degree in Bioinformatics from Zhejiang University and the University of Edinburgh. His current research interests in bioinformatics include developing statistical methods that help connect genetic variation to cellular phenotypes at single‑cell resolution.
